Workshops

Our Workshops are fun and engaging that end with a chunk of “product” that can be used from tomorrow. Training gives comprehensive knowledge about an area of expertise. However, Workshops help to focus and work for several hours and generate a working solution, a result that is something designed specifically for their team. During our sessions, we focus on creating a piece of working solution, whether it is the purpose of the company, their brand identity, a kanban board for a specific team, or plan for the future activities.

Purpose Canvas

Why do we exist?

There are very few companies that create “movements”. Very few companies motivate their followers and employees to stick with them through thick or thin. What is it that separates them from the rest? Every company knows the “WHAT”. They can describe their products, their industry, and their competitors. Some companies also know “HOW” they do WHAT they do - their unique differentiators, their value proposition, and their values. But few companies know or articulate their “WHY” - their reasons for doing things, their purpose, their cause, or their belief. This session helps companies to define their “WHY, their reason for being, and the reason why anyone should care.

Team Canvas

Shaping the Team Culture

Leaders often experience moments when they need to bring Team Members together, clarify their goals, figure out their motivations, and help them to become more aligned and productive. Team Canvas is a Business Model Canvas for teamwork that helps organize team alignment, bring members to the same page, resolve conflicts, and build productive culture. This session is designed to create higher clarity and alignment, and create the desired cultural identity of the team.

Brand Identity

Know who your brand is

Brand is beyond what meets the eye. It is the identity, the character, and the tone of voice of your company. Our brand identity workshop is designed to define your company and personify it. It helps with better communication with your Team Members, your customers and suppliers. The workshop is based on your purpose and values. We help you to create a brand identity by conceptualizing, developing, and perfecting what you already feel about your company.

Definition of Done

The primary purposes of the “Definition of Done” (DoD) are to build consensus and allocate accountability to the appropriate stations so that the team can deliver quality products consistently. A clear DoD is crucial not only for execution, but also for planning, and estimation across all levels in the product organization. Our workshop is created for teams who are new to this term, or are struggling with creating the right DoD. This short workshop will enable you to come up with your own DoD with a clear understanding of its implication and implementation.

Delegation Poker

Delegation has always been one of the biggest challenges that Managers face. Should I delegate everything? Should I be in control of everything? What is the right amount of delegation? Delegation Poker is a game that helps teams agree on how decisions will be made. During this short workshop we work with your team to set a clear understanding on the decision making process. At the end of the workshop you will have your delegation matrix, which will make it easier to stop micromanagement, and be with the team when they need your support.

Futurespective

How to Get “There”

When we understand the “WHY” and where we are heading, it is important to look ahead and identify the blockers that toughen our way to achieving that “WHY”, both inside and outside of our team. Even when we can identify the blockers, sometimes we only talk about them and do not actually act upon them. This session is focused on creating action items that can help eliminate blockers after identifying them, and accelerate the good things that help us move ahead. This Futurespective is conducted once, for a given period, after which an Improvement board is created, and later Retrospectives are conducted to get the results the team anticipates.

Retrospective

The Retrospective Meeting is the time your team reflects on the past to improve the future. Sometimes we are extremely busy with our everyday life, and the day is so overloaded that we don't get time to look at the obstacles in our way, or to reflect on what could make us more productive. Retrospectives allows us to stop for a moment, withdraw from the routine and reflect on our work. This workshop is a facilitation of a Retrospective for a team that allows us to understand our shortcomings, our strengths, and to come up with actions to improve our processes. This is also a part of a Guided Continuous Process that we set up for the companies.

Project Post Mortem

Did something go wrong with your project? You have done your best, but the results were really disappointing. One way to handle the situation is to get drunk and spend the night crying into your beer. A more productive way is to gather all the strengths, get the Team Members and stakeholders together and try to find out the reasons everything went sideways. The purpose of this workshop is to teach how to set aside the worries, blames and finger-pointing, and look at the real problem. After the workshop, the team will come up with a list of killing actions which will help prevent repeating the situation.
